“Love is energy;
love is power;
love is bliss;
love is light and
love is God.”

The Sathya Sai International Organisation (SSIO) is a spiritual and humanitarian organisation. It has been active for over 50 years, carrying out its mission of enabling spiritual aspirants to realise the Divine Principle innate in every being.

This Organisation was founded under the guidance and inspiration of Sri Sathya Sai Baba for the benefit of mankind and does not make any distinction or separateness on the basis of religion, race or nationality.

In the United Kingdom, we have over 100 Sai Centres and Groups focused on taking Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s example and message of love and service into the community through Spiritual, Service and Educational activities.

Here are just some examples of the Spiritual, Education & Service activities that the Leicester Sai Centre organises.

“Divine love expands, worldly love contracts.”

Educational activities include the teaching and practice of the five universal Human Values: Truth, Right Conduct, Peace, Love and Non-Violence through classes for children and parents and training seminars for teachers. The Leicester Centre runs weekly classes for children aged between 4-17 years of age. We also have a playgroup wherein parents can bring in children at a very young age, ever since they are 1 or 2 years old.

Many education administrators have examined the Sathya Sai Education in Human Values programme, known as SSEHV, and adopted it in their schools. SSEHV is non-denominational and compatible with all cultures and religious creeds. SSEHV is administered by over 30 Institutes of Sathya Sai Education, worldwide.

• Health Awareness Camps for the homeless

“Worldly love always receives and never gives.
Spiritual love gives, and goes on giving.”

These activities focus around the spiritual growth of aspirants by helping to purify the mind, establish love and faith firmly in the individual and help them to respect and understand each other.

Our activities include: group devotional singing, guided ‘light meditation’, chanting of prayers from the different faiths and study circles. The organisation also hosts special events to celebrate festivals from the major religions of the world.
