On Sunday 18th December 2022, Leicester Sai Centre celebrated the Christmas programme. The Soar Valley College’s main hall reverberated with the Christmas Bhajans that charged the atmosphere with powerful vibrations. After that, the Nativity Play, performed by all the Bal Vikas children of Leicester Sai Centre, mesmerised the parents and devotees. The nursery and reception children looked enchanting in their costumes, while the older children eloquently and confidently narrated the Christmas story.
They sang Christmas Carols with gusto and were accompanied by Ankitha Kunigiri -our ex-Bal Vikas student on the key board. It was a sight to behold and cherish for all present on that day. The highlight of the morning was the visit by Santa, who showered the children and the devotees alike with chocolates and later gave Christmas presents to all the Bal Vikas children. The day’s programme culminated in all devotees enjoying the delicious sandwiches, popcorn and mouth-watering pies served by the dedicated Service Wing.
Another delightful surprise, was the chocolate fountain! Everyone, relished consuming fresh fruits dipped in the smooth, delicious and warm chocolate flowing from the fountain.
