“There is only one religion, the religion of love………….”
The Sathya Sai International Organisation (SSIO) is a spiritual and humanitarian organisation. It has been active for over 50 years, carrying out its mission of enabling spiritual aspirants to realise the Divine Principle innate in every being.
This Organisation was founded under the guidance and inspiration of Sri Sathya Sai Baba for the benefit of mankind and does not make any distinction or separateness on the basis of religion, race or nationality.
In the United Kingdom, we have over 100 Sai Centres and Groups focused on taking Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s example and message of love and service into the community through Education, Service and Spiritual activities.
Here are just some examples of the Education, Service & Spiritual activities that the Leicester Sai Centre organises.
“The end of Education is Character.”
Educational activities include the teaching and practice of the five universal Human Values: Truth, Right Conduct, Peace, Love and Non-Violence.
The Leicester Centre runs weekly classes for children on Sunday mornings.

” Love All, Serve All. “
These activities inspire the individual to serve selflessly with the feeling of oneness toward every individual and community by offering every act to God.
As a Centre we organise:
• Preparing and serving food to the homeless, • Health Awareness Camps for the homeless, • Meals on Wheels service at week-ends, • Collection of items for the local Food Bank, • Food Parcels for Refugee Relief Charity, • Annual summer and Christmas events for the local elderly, disabled and members of residential homes.
“Worldly love always receives and never gives.
Spiritual love gives, and goes on giving.”
These activities focus around the spiritual growth of aspirants by helping to purify the mind, establish love and faith firmly in the individual and help them to respect and understand each other.
Our activities include: group devotional singing, chanting of prayers from the different faiths, and study circles. The organisation also hosts special events to celebrate festivals from the major religions of the world.
