The Leicester Youth along with the elders of the Leicester Sai Centres organised the Bridge (Homelessness Charity) Christmas Party on the 9th of December 2023.
It was great to see so many Youth coming together for weeks planning the event, help with cooking, decorating the hall, playing games, music and entertaining our guests, bringing big smiles all around. The guests really enjoyed the food, games and karaoke time singing Christmas carols.
Some of the Youth volunteered in the kitchen alongside our elders to prepare a big breakfast as well as the Christmas party food in such a short time.
It was the first time volunteering at the Bridge for many, a great eye-opener no doubt and we had amazing feedback from all that they found it quite fulfilling as well.
