On Saturday 18 July 2026 we had our Annual Global Service Day event. This year we took our Elderly and Centre Guests to Birstall Village Hall and Grounds. Our guests were collected from their respective homes and on arrival were served with light refreshments.
As the weather was so lovely with Swami’s grace, everyone enjoyed themselves in the park playing various outdoor activities and a nice stroll around the field (not forgetting the pit-stop at the swings).
Then we served our guests with a delicious Gujarati meal along with strawberries and ice-cream for desert.
After lunch, they had lots of fun with the craft activities colouring and decorating hand-made fridge magnets.
Then we had everyone’s favourite Bingo and prizes were presented by Nalin. We ended the day with a sing-a-long and stories narrated by volunteers and guests that they wanted to share with everyone.
