The sacred occasion of Guru Poornima was celebrated by devotees of Leicester Sai Centre on Sunday 2nd August at Soar Valley College. This was the most amazing & enjoyable event. Devotees attended in big numbers.
Our superb programme included the chanting of Mantra Pushpam. All the devotees participated in Naam Smaran by chanting “Aum Bhagawan Shree Sathya Sai Babaya Namaha ” 108 xs and offering rice grains to Swami’s miniature Paduka
We had wonderful bhajans, beautiful rendition of Veena classical music by our main guest sister Kretthika. Our young adults offered fantastic bouquet of songs & prayers
Shree Navinbhai Patel was our main speaker on the day and he shared some wonderful & amazing stories from his time spent with our Guru.
Some 3 hrs went so quickly & blissfully and after the Arti delicious prasad of bundi ladoos were distributed to every devotee. This was truly a remarkable event and everyone worked together in unity to ensure smooth operation on the day. Even the non Sai devotees who came from far away places were in full praise and were totally impressed with what they saw and experienced.
