Mahashivaratri celebrations were held on Friday 08/03/24 from 8 pm to 8 am Saturday 09/03/24 by the two Sai Centres of Leicester at the Shree Wanza Community Center, Pasture Lane, Leicester.
There was a very large turnout for the occasion. The amasing programme started with Bal Vikas children discourse about the holy festival which was then followed by melodious bhajans until 9pm. Maha Rudra Abishekam along with Ashtakam chantings followed this, with Shiva Aarti and a rejuvenating midnight Archana.
Bhajans continued throughout the night. At 5 am Suprabatham was chanted before more beautiful Bhajans were sang and enjoyed. The event concluded with Aarti and distribution of Mahaprasadham.
Throughout the evening and into the morning all the guests were treated to delicious food and drinks by hardworking volunteers from both the centres.
Massive well done to all the volunteers for their hardwork in making this the most memorable occasion.
