  1. We will be celebration Sri Krishna Janmashtami on Friday 4th of September from 7pm to 9pm, hear at Soar Valley College. If you are able to help  on the day please speak to Jagdishbhai, Savitaben or Hansaben.

  2. This year, The Sai Smaran Bhajans will take place on Saturday 5th of September in Ashton-Under-Lyne near Manchester. If you would like to sing or play an instrument on the day, please speak to Ashaben for further details. We will organise transport if we have sufficient numbers.

  1. On Thursday 30 July, Narborough Sai Centre will be celebrating Guru Purnima. The offering will include Talk by a prominent, well liked, person and a musical offering by Young Adults.
  2. Next Sunday we will be celebrating Guru Purnima here at Soar Valley College.  We have a special speaker who will be talking about their personal experiences being in the presence of Swami and also a musical offering by our Young Adults.

  1. Yesterday we had our annual Global Service Day event at Birstall Village Hall and Grounds. It is an event we organise to take out our elderly and disabled guests.  All guests were collected from their respective homes, served with light refreshments on arrival, followed by outdoors and indoor activities. At lunch time they were served with a delicious Gujarati meal and then we had crafts, bingo and singing-a-long.  It was a great day out for all concerned.
  2. We will be celebrating Guru Purnima here at Soar Valley College on Sunday 2nd We have a special speaker who will be talking about their personal experiences being in the presence of Swami and also a musical offering by our Young Adults.
  3. Bal Vikas (SSE) have finished for the summer and will resume in late August. If there are any parents and grandparents who would like to bring their children for the next academic year, please talk to our Bal Vikas (SSE) Coordinator.

1. On Tuesday, the 3rd of February, we have our centre committee meeting. All are welcome to
join the meeting. This is your opportunity to have your say regarding the centre’s activities
or any other aspect of the centre.
 
2. In two weeks, we will be celebrating the Maha Shivratri on Sunday, the 15th of February. It will take place at Ram Mandir. The program will start at 4 pm and run until 10 pm. If you can offer service on the day, then please give your name to Savitaben or Jagdishbhai.

3. We have two service opportunities to partake in.
1) Tree Planting in Milton Keynes, Saturday 14th, 21st or 28th of February
2) Helping to Maintain the Miyawaki Forest in Bedford on the 3rd or 4th of March. Further details from Savitaben or Jagdishbhai

Sunday 25 January 2026

  1. Please note, todays, Bhaja Govindam session has been cancelled.  It will resume next month. 
  2. On Saturday 7th of February, we have the National Office Bearers Conference in Watford.  This is open to all Coordinators and active workers. If you wish to go, then please speak to Hemantbhai.
  3. Next Sunday after bhajans we will be showing the film ANANTHA.  The film is based on the life and teachings of our Dear Swami and will be shown from 10.30 to 1.15.  Please bring your friends and family for the viewing.
  4. This year, Maha Shivratri is on Sunday 15 February from 4.00 pm to 10.00 pm. We will be celebrating at Ram Mandir, upstairs hall. Volunteers are required for all aspects of the event. Please give your name to Savitaben or Jagdishbhai if you can help.

 

Sunday 18 January 2026

  1. On Saturday 7th of February, we have the National Office Bearers Conference in Watford.  This is open to all Coordinators and active workers. If you wish to go, then please speak to Hemantbhai.
  2. Next Sunday, the Ladies Wing will be holding their next Bhaja Govindam class in the Balvikas area after bhajans.
